Personal Projects
& Illustration
Here is a small compilation of some of my favorite sketchbook pieces and personal projects. Here you will find hand-drawn illustrations created with dip-pen, Copic markers, pencils, Sumi ink wash, etc. I also love poster design, so there are a few examples of those as well.
Sketchbooks
My favorite thing to do is draw, no doubt about it. I have filled dozens of sketchbooks but the galleries below showcase two of my favorites. The first one is filled with copic marker illustrations. I particularly like these markers because of how rich the pigments are and how smoothly they blend. Most of the drawings are drawn from objects I see in my day to day life or are characters that I come up with.
One-off Posters
Here is a small collection of illustrations that I turned into posters or artwork for my house. These are a combination of screen printing, ink illustration, copic markers, and dip-pen.
Sandwich Illustration & Process
Here is a drawing/poster that I did just for fun. I felt like flexing my sketching skills, along with my Photoshop skills to create this piece. If you look below, you can see each part of the process. Fun fact, I drew the "Shin Ramen" noodle cup on the left side of the magazine mockup only using copic markers and colored pencils. :)
